Our Mission
Empowered Sisters Keepers aim to improve the lives of women survivors of violence. Our organization deeply understands that when a victim of violence chooses to leave their abusive partner, safe and affordable housing is a huge obstacle. The lack of shelter can often lead to continued abuse, leaving victims in a draining cycle of abuse and homelessness. Our goal is to empower survivors of violence by providing supportive services to establish economic self-sufficiency.
About Us
Founded in 2020, Empowered Sisters Keepers is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving women survivors of violence who are homeless, or at risk of being homeless, due to domestic violence or human sex trafficking.
According to the National Network to End Domestic Violence, an average of nearly 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner in the United States. This equates to more than 10 million victims annually. We believe it is imperative to create a safe environment for women to go through the healing process. Our vision is that every woman is empowered to achieve a greater sense of self-worth. We aim to guide women of all races and backgrounds to realize their full potential in every aspect of their lives.
